Do You Still Need a Website if You Have Social Media or Delivery Apps?

It’s tempting to just rely on Facebook, Google and delivery apps and skip having your own website. But Facebook’s algorithm decides who sees your posts, not you — and delivery apps own the relationship with your customer, not you.

Your own website is the one place that’s actually yours. When someone wants your current prices, exact address or opening hours without any distractions, that’s what it’s for — no ads, no algorithm, no competitor’s menu two clicks away.

Every site I build is simple, and I look after it — you don’t touch a computer. Send me your menu changes and I’ll keep it current, and you can print a fresh takeaway menu straight from the site with one click.

Keep your Facebook page and your delivery app listings — they’re still useful for getting found. Just make sure you’ve also got the one place online that’s entirely yours.
