RestaurantMenus.online (ABN 37 902 717 052) is run by Karen Smith, based in Elanora, Queensland, Australia. This page explains what information I collect through this website, why, and what I do with it.
What I collect
When you fill in a form on this site — the free preview form, the contact form, or a payment link — I collect what you type in: your restaurant name, suburb, contact name, phone number, email address, any message you write, and any menu file or photo you upload.
If you go ahead with a purchase, Stripe (the payment processor) collects your card details directly — I never see or store your card number myself.
The site also uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how many people visit and which pages they use, which involves small tracking files (cookies) in your browser.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry, send you a free website preview, build and run your website if you sign up, and process your payment. Nothing you send me is used for anything else.
Who it's shared with
I don't sell or rent your details to anyone. The people who process it on my behalf are:
- Stripe — processes your payment. See Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Supabase — securely stores your form submissions and uploaded files.
- Hostinger — hosts my business email, so your enquiry reaches me.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — anonymised website usage data, so I can see what's working on the site.
How long I keep it
I keep your details for as long as you're a customer, plus a reasonable period after (for tax and record-keeping purposes). If you were never a customer — just an enquiry that didn't go anywhere — I'll delete your details on request at any time.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@restaurantmenus.online and I'll sort it personally, usually within a few days.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies to recognise repeat visits and measure site usage. You can block or clear these in your browser at any time without affecting your ability to use the site.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and change the date at the top.
