Terms of Service

A$299 one-off setup fee to build your restaurant website, then A$79/month for me to host it, maintain it, and handle your ongoing updates. There's no lock-in contract — you can cancel the monthly service at any time.

If I register a new .com.au (or other) web address for you, it is registered in your restaurant or business's name, not mine. It's yours permanently, whether you stay with me or not. The registration cost is charged separately, at the exact cost I pay — no markup. If you already have a domain, I'll connect it instead.

One normal batch of menu or content updates goes out each month — get changes to me by the 25th and they're live on the 1st. Important factual corrections (wrong hours, a wrong price, a temporary closure) are made as needed under fair use, free of charge. Anything genuinely urgent that can't wait for the monthly cycle is done the same day for a flat A$30 fee.

The A$79/month is billed automatically via Stripe. If a payment fails, I'll be in touch to sort it out before any action is taken on your site. You can update your payment details or cancel at any time by contacting me.

The A$299 setup fee covers the work of building your site. Once I've started building (after you've sent me your menu and details), it's non-refundable, since that reflects the work done. If you cancel before I've started any build work, I'll refund it in full.

Cancel any time — no lock-in, no cancellation fee. If you cancel, your monthly hosting and update service ends, but your domain (if registered to you) stays yours, and I'll give you your site's content so you're never left with nothing.

You confirm that the menu, photos, business details and any other content you send me are accurate and that you have the right to use them (for example, you own the photos or have permission to use them). I'm not responsible for the accuracy of information you supply — if something's wrong on the site because the details you gave me were wrong, send me the correction and I'll fix it as usual.

I'll build and maintain your website with reasonable care and skill, and keep it running under normal circumstances. Like any web service, I can't guarantee the site or its hosting will never go down, and I'm not liable for indirect losses (like lost sales) arising from downtime or delays, beyond what's required by Australian Consumer Law.

If I change these terms, I'll update this page and let existing customers know by email.
